Above is our School Crest reflecting our Aim’s and Objectives. The Red border signifies equality, bravery and unity. Gold (Yellow), the brightness of Knowledge and acknowledges the School’s Fifty Year. The Lamp leads us from darkness (ignorance) to light (knowledge) and the rays the need to seek for knowledge.
The Crest is held up by a Banner with the Sanskrit test “SA VIDYA YA VIMUKTAYE” telling us
“THAT WHICH LIBERATES IS TRU KNOWLEDGE”.
The hidden meaning of the Crest is that through our Mother Tongue will our Culture and Heritage be preserved.
This Crest was designed by a former student of the Gujarati School on the 50th Anniversary.
